Just for you card ~

I took a few minutes this morning to celebrate the first day of school and make a card.

This is for the Friday Sketchers challenge blog. The stamps are Magnolia and Purple Onion Designs, papers are from Stampin' Up! and the flowers are Prima. I stamped one of the Purple Onion Flourishs as a border on the inside of the card too.

Back to School ~

aToday is the first day of school. Kristine and her friend met up this morning for silly pictures before I dropped them off at the Junior High. I can't believe she is in 8th grade all ready. We have had so much fun this summer, running errands, shopping, and going to lunch. Have a great first day Stiney, I'll miss you!

Make a Wish Tilda ~

This cute little card is for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday . The challenge this week is to make a card using bright colors. For me this is pretty bright even though the colors are a little soft. Thanks for looking!

Tilda Pocket Card ~

Since my dryer is broken I couldn't do laundry yesterday, so I made cards instead. This simple little pocket card has a removeable Tilda that can be used as a bookmark or it can just be a cute little Tilda. And today the dryer is still broken and it will take a couple of days to get a repairman here so today I will be washing and finding alternate methods of drying things. Jen gave up and took laundry to her boyfriends house the other night. There might be time to fit in some more crafty stuff so check back tomorrow for a peek.

It's Here ~

One of the fun things about getting home from somewhere is seeing what arrived while you were gone. The UPS Man had brought my box of brand new Stampin' Up! catalogs on Wednesday. They are so fun. Someone has counted 400 idea samples in the book, plus all of the new stamp sets and papers. You'll love it. I will be getting the new catalogs out to my preorder list on Saturday and if you would like one be sure and let me know. See the post below to see one of the fun goodies that will be in with the new catalogs. There are also fun sales flyers that I will put in too.

Enjoy your weekend,

Wendy

I'm Back ~

We just got back from a fun family reunion in Park City, Utah. My husband's family all got together for a couple of days at a lodge right next to the Olympic Ski Jump Park. There were a few of the grandkids that couldn't get away from summer jobs, but there were plenty of family there that we haven't seen in a while. Thanks for all of the fun. I'll get the cookie recipe up this weekend. I have so much housework and laundry to get to today. Rod works 4 day weeks, so Friday starts the weekend and we have another bike trip planned. Here are a couple photos from our walk around Park City. Kymber giggled every time her Grandpa carried her up a flight of stairs. It was so much fun having her and Michelle come with us. We went to the outlet mall after this and I think we have Kristine almost ready for back to school. It is so fun to shop with her. Everything she tries on looks just adorable. I don't know if 8th grade girls are going for "adorable" but that's what Mom thinks.
