Welcome to my Craft Room ~

Here is a picture of my Craft Room! It has been rearranged, cleaned out and organized. Saturday I found this amazing wire shelf that is above my desk to hold stamp sets and other goodies, it was the missing piece. There is space at the desk under the window for a scrapping buddy too. Kristine was really concerned about the rearranging until we got a space for her to work and store her tool tote. I love having a room with a window. I guess it is one of the perks of kids growing up and moving out.

These next pictures are of a cute little chocolate pocket card I made this weekend. I used the Fast Flowers wheel with Chocolate Chip ink and watercolored the flowers with Purely Pomegranate. Pretty easy, and I love how it turned out.

Happy Monday,

Wendy

Birthday Party Project ~

Tomorrow we are heading to Boise to visit family for spring break. I think we might get to see green grass. Our yard is still covered in snow so that will be a real treat. Anyway, while we are there I am helping do a birthday party for my niece Malia. She will be 13 on Sunday and there will be 14 girls (including sisters and my Kristine - her cousin). We are doing this paper bag album. It is quite simple but with that many girls I didn't want something too complicated. Here are a few pictures. It uses the SU! Spring Fling papers. I love these papers. they are just the right weight to work with and I love how everything coordinates. I'll try to get pictures at the party. It should be lots of fun!!!

Happy Birthday Kristine ~

We celebrated Kristine's 13th birthday last week. The party lasted all weekend long. First she got treated to breakfast out at IHOP with Michelle and Alex. That afternoon she had a party with her friends at Bear Buddies.
They had so much fun picking their animals and making t-shirts for them. I think they are all making plans to go back again. Saturday was a shopping day to spend birthday money and gift cards. And Sunday, the real birthday, she got to open her new cell phone and Brad surprised her by coming down for dinner that afternoon. It's hard to believe that my "baby" is a teenager now. We are so glad to have her in our family. Love you Kristine!!
